SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
Position Responsibilities
Read and analyze contracts, bank loan documents and partnership agreements and monitor compliance with agreements.
Prepare job cost summary reports for management team.
Prepare and analyze budget to actual variances.
Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages for joint venture partners.
Assist with internal management and external lender/joint venture partner questions.
Review revenue, cost of sales and other month-end closing entries.
Prepare quarterly financial statements for each company.
Assist in preparation of quarterly business plan projections and updates.
Track and reconcile intercompany transactions.
Run bi-monthly payroll and related reporting.
Assistance with welfare and retirement plan reporting and related employee assistance.
Qualities/Skills
Strong commitment to accuracy
Strong communication skills
Good organization and time management skills
Strong computer skills including accounting software packages (FAST a plus), Microsoft Excel and Word (Microsoft PowerPoint a plus)
Previous experience with payroll and benefits a plus
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
5
years of accounting experience, real estate preferred
Ability to read and understand complex financial data
Work effectively as part of a team

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
