Five (5) years experience performing procedures in area of competence.
Current BLS certification.
JOB DESCRIPTION :
Salary Range The salary range for this position is from 57,684 to 80,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
This position is a pay Band Code CS22.
Specific Job Related Duties ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Leadership and Talent Development o Assists with the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of objectives and/or treatment protocols within the areas of neurodiagnostics.
o Administers and maintains departmental policies, procedures, and methodologies.
o Ensures compliance with all state and federal laws.
o Coordinates the integration of departmental programs and projects with other departments or areas.
o Reports to the Practice Manger of employee's input, feedback, annual performance reviews, and development processes.
o Performs appropriate orientation for new employees.
o Handles discretionary information and answers questions in the absence of the Practice Manager.
o Builds the breadth and depth of the area's people capability and professionalism.
o Supports top:
performing staff and takes a personal interest in coaching and mentoring high:
potential leaders.
Marketing and Communication o Assists in communicating program objectives.
o Assists in the recruitment and retention of department personnel.
Program Management o Coordinates programs and projects by establishing protocols, objectives, and monitoring and revising policies and procedures.
o Ensures an open communication and feedback system with the Practice Manger.
Clinical Applications o Performs clinical duties and tasks in the area to maintain clinical proficiency.
o Acts as a resource for staff in troubleshooting equipment and software.
Quality Assurance o Assists in the implementation and review of the continuous process improvement processes that includes record review, staff training and development, and successful monitoring and documentation of employee competency.
o Ensures that staff documentation is consistent and standardized in accordance with departmental expectations.
Education and Training o Participates in ongoing departmental education and in:
service programs to maintain clinical knowledge and skills.
o Mainitains technician technical competency assesments.
o Plans and coordinates in:
service training programs.
o Assists with orientation and competency evaluation of staff working in neurophysiology.
