Assists Executive Director in responsibilities related to recruitment, hiring, orientation, training, supervision, evaluation, disciplinary action and/or termination process, as needed within department.

Assists Executive Director in planning, preparing, and monitoring departmental budget.

Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure.

Assumes Executive Director Responsibilities in the absence of the Executive Director.

Performs related duties as assigned.
Preferred Education Masters degree in accounting or business and/or CPA.
Preferred Skill/Competency :
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, cost accounting, and government accounting.

Knowledge of UTMB's patient accounting, financial, business and administrative systems.
