Vice President of Operations (Healthcare Revenue Cycle) - Tenet (Frisco, TX)

Understanding of relationships between patient access, HIM and billing and collections Extensive knowledge of revenue cycle metrics and drivers, particularly in billing and collections (AR days, cash goals, aging, compliance metrics) Knowledge of AR management technology tools being utilized to deliver on client SLAs and improve EBIT (claims clearinghouses, advanced AR management workflow tools, advanced call center technology, disputed claims management) Analytical abilities using revenue cycle metrics/processes to measure and drive results (including days in A/R reduction, improved cash collections, reduced aging, lower denials) Understanding key drivers of patient and physician satisfaction, and proven ability to bring improvements to the overall customer experience Strategic thinking skills with the ability to plan short and long term goals Forward-thinking with the ability to build innovative processes that align with the overall strategy of the organization EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE Include minimum education, technical training, and/or experience required to perform the job.
Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare or related field PHYSICAL DEMANDS Must be able to work in sitting position, use computer and answer telephone Ability to travel, ability to walk through hospital-based departments across broad campus settings, including Emergency Department environments WORK ENVIRONMENT Office Work Environment Hospital Work Environment OTHER - Approximately 50% travel may be required Source:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
