Accountant - Community Health Systems (Laredo (Southwestern Texas), TX)
Title:
Accountant Assists the Controller in all aspects of accounting including but not limited to:
monthly close, reporting of financial operations, account reconciliation?s, budget preparation/monitoring, reporting to regulatory agencies/corporate staff (cost report data collection).
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting preferred.
Experience:
Experience with personal computer applications including but not limited to Microsoft Office.
General business operations experience desired.
Experience in a healthcare facility desired, but not mandatory.
Requires one year on-the-job training to become familiar with hospital policies and procedures, financial reporting, and the interrelationship of accounting to the overall operations of the hospital.
