CDL Driver / Rigger / Machinery Mover
ATLAS Rigging and Transfer requires very flexible and highly cooperative personnel to perform following tasks:
Load, Drive & Unload, mobile equipment and machinery on heavy truck
trailer combinations. (80,000
GVW with a variety of heavy trailers)
Operate forklifts and cranes to move various types of equipment and machinery in varying client industrial environments
Perform machine moving and carpentry (crate shop), as an individual and as part of a team.
Perform any other job, as required by the company.
REQUIREMENTS:
CERTIFICATES & LICENSES: CDL class A (REQUIRED), Clean MVR, DOT Medical Card, OSHA Forklift and Mobile Equipment Certifications, NCCCO Certification (preferred)
OTHER PREFERRED SKILLS:
Mechanical Background: If the candidate also has experience in the following then it will be a plus:
o Welding (mild steel Arc welding, Mig (wire feed), a strong plus
o Soldering, Torches, Cutters, Precision tools
o Ability to read technical plans
CDL: Heavy Haul and OTR experience
Carpentry: Ability to use circular, cutoff, and panel saws, measure accurately, use a nail and staple guns, cut panels of ply wood and OSB, etc.
The candidate must be:
Safety attitude.
A team player, with leadership skills.
MUST be able to pass an NSA background check
Very highly cooperative, positive attitude.
Very active and hard working
Dependable and punctual
