Medical Assistant
Full-time Certified Medical Assistant with a minimum of two years' experience in a physician practice/clinic sought to join our team at busy family medicine office in Kaysville. Schedule is business hours Monday through Friday -- no late nights or unusual hours.
Duties will include:
-Checking in and rooming patients
-Taking detailed patient histories and vitals
-Performing blood draws and basic phlebotomy
-Administering injections and immunizations
-Preparing and stocking exam rooms
-Making and returning patient calls, messages, and prescription refill requests
-Scheduling medical tests and referrals to other providers
-Coordinating prior authorizations
-Recording patient interactions (in office and on the phone) in the electronic medical record
-Assisting the physician during clinic hours
We are looking for a dependable, hard-working, friendly person with demonstrated medical assisting skills and great attention to detail. Excellent customer service is a must! Computer skills, including typing skills, and comfort with electronic medical records are necessary.
Successful candidates must have at least two years' experience as a medical assistant in a physician practice/clinic.
