Nanny/Mother's Helper/Direct Support Staff

Busy Layton Family with many children looking for person or persons that can be flexible, organized and work to meet our expectations. Non-Working Mom will be home on and off all day and will be responsible for most of the children's daily needs. Most of the children are in school all day.
We have multiple shifts and do not require a person to be available for each shift -apply for the days and times that you can be consistent, reliable and dependable.
Applicant must have the Ability to accept that we are the responsible adults who set and maintain the rules in our home. We have struggled with personalities that want to change/control the atmosphere in the home and refuse to respect our routines and decisions.
This is a hands-on position. If you are looking to sit back and supervise without engaging, this is not the right position for you. We are able to communicate our needs clearly, but are unwilling to continually explain each parenting decision and prefer not to hire persons that continually challenge our decisions/routines.
Monday 8am - 4pm -light and heavy cleaning. Supervising person with disabilities. Be prepared to pick up our children at school (in our vehicle) if need arises. Help with morning routine.
Tuesday 3pm - 8Pm (flexible end time) Assist disabled person in the community as he works to gain skills and enjoy recreation
Wednesday 8am - 4pm -light and heavy cleaning. Supervising person with disabilities. Be prepared to pick up our children at school (in our vehicle) if need arises. Help with morning routine.
Thursday 3pm - 9pm Assist disabled persons who desire to attend a church YM program for special needs. Transport locally and offer supervision.
Friday 4pm - 10pm. Supervise ALL the children in the home while parents enjoy Date Night. Be able to offer direction, take charge, and prepare a light dinner. Light cleaning after the children go to bed.
Every other Saturday FLEXIBLE hours. Assist disabled person in the community as he works to gain skills and enjoy recreation
Every Sunday 8am - 2pm (Flexible end time) Times will change in January. Supervise disabled person while parents and children attend church. Laundry, Dishes, proper hygiene (nails and shaving).

Ability to learn new tasks and not have to be shown day after day!!
Ability to accept our children's physical, mental and emotional limitations
Supervise children and disabled persons
Plan and prepare light meals
Reinforce good social manners
Play with the children, read and help with homework
Ability and willingness to navigate public transportation
Comfortable with a racially diverse family
Respect family privacy
Reinforce appropriate discipline for the children (NO PHYSICAL
DISCIPLINE)
Be flexible with any additional responsibilities

Trustworthy
Has experience with toddlers and young children
Have a positive attitude and patience
Know CPR or be willing to get certified (I am an instructor)
Must be drug free and non-smoker
Can communicate in English
No other children may be brought to the home
Have own transportation
Clean driving record (minor traffic offenses are acceptable)
Complete Background check will be performed at our expense. A check into the State Abuse/Neglect Registry will be performed.
Applicant must have Absolutely NO felonies, crimes that involve harm against another person, theft, Drugs, violence, abuse or neglect of a child or vulnerable person.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
