ENGINEERING ASSISTANT The Township of Penn, York County, is seeking an entry-level assistant to the Township Engineer.
The applicant shall have some course work exposure to computer aided design, proficient general computer operations, mathematics including geometry and trigonometry, mechanical drawing, and Microsoft office.
The job entails data collection and entry, surveying (gps), and construction observation of public works projects including but not limited to streets, storm drains and wastewater collection and conveyance.
The position requires that an individual have the ability to adapt to a changing environment.
This includes working indoors as well as outdoors and working both independently and with others depending upon the assignment.
