LAURIN PUBLISHING COMPANY ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE MANAGER Laurin Publishing Company, a leader in its field for 60 years, has an immediate full-time opening for an Accounts Receivable Manager.
This position is responsible for all aspects of the accounts receivable function for the company, ensuring that billings are accurate, timely and in accordance with the conditions of payment.
The position oversees and monitors billing cycles and processes, making improvements as warranted.
It requires timely, effective and efficient collection of aged receivable accounts, both foreign and domestic.
Requirements include:
The qualified candidate must have solid collection, analytical and negotiating skills, effective and professional oral and written communication skills and familiarity with commercial credit collection laws is preferred.
Associates degree in Business Management with concentration in accounting, finance or related business field with 5 years of experience in accounts receivable/credit and collections.
Experience with Microsoft Office programs - Excel, Word, Outlook.
Familiarity with MAS90 is preferred.
Successful candidate will need to learn custom publishing software Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task are imperative.
Excellent customer service skills with superior problem resolution and active listening abilities.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
