Lead Developer

This position is in our Synergy Worldwide office in Pleasant Grove.
Performs the following types of duties:
-Under general direction, formulates and defines specifications for complex software programming applications or modifies/maintains complex existing applications.
-Formulates/defines system scope and objectives for an assigned functional area.
-Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results.
-Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
-Designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents those programs.
-Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of application systems analysis and programming activities.
-May be responsible for completion of a phase of a project.
-Regularly provides guidance and training to less experienced software engineers.
-Additional responsibilities may include evaluation of new and existing software products, installation of systems globally, and interfacing with international personnel to solve country specific application needs.
-Performs other related duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE: TDD, good ALM knowledge, strong OOP, SOA, strong C#, Java a plus. WCF, ASP.net MVC. Mobility development a plus.
SKILL: Skilled in various programming language tools and development systems of an assigned functional area. Excellent oral and written communications skills.
ABILITY to deliver on deadlines. Competent to work on the most complex projects independently. Regularly able to work under deadlines and heavy workloads.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. At least 8 years of application development experience. Familiar with computer science and mathematics in a business environment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
