Sr. Commissions Developer

This position is in our Synergy Worldwide office in Pleasant Grove.
Has the following duties and skill sets:
Writes, edits, and debugs new computer programs for assigned projects.
Produces code quickly, efficiently, and with minimal defects.
Tests new programs to ensure that logic and syntax are correct, and that program results are accurate.
Performs code reviews of other developer's code.
Able to analyze and translate requirements to task specifications.
Responsible for planning and performing all jobs in an efficient manner with minimal assistance from the supervisor.
Skilled in one or more highly specialized areas of software development.
Able to analyze, design, coordinate and supervise the development of complex software systems.
Understands and uses software development industry changes and improvements.
Provides technical contributions to complex projects.
Mentors more junior developers in development practices and techniques.
Makes presentations to customers, clients, or professional peers.
Has good technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming.
Has good technical knowledge of corporate systems.
Ability to think outside the box and innovate.
As new technologies emerge and impact our systems, expected to learn these technologies and resolve any problems involved in integrating new technologies with our systems.
Experienced in multiple computer languages.
Has good knowledge of software design methods and techniques.
Has the ability to learn new programming languages quickly.
KNOWLEDGE: Excellent understanding of commissions systems. Strong SQL, strong ALM, SSIS, SSRS, TDD, SOA, OOP, strong C#, Java a plus, WCF, ASP.net MVC, Mobile a plus. Strong history of delivering software.
SKILL: in communication of ideas and specifications with users and technical personnel. Skill in project planning.
ABILITY to coordinate multiple project assignments. Ability to effectively instruct technical personnel and users in system operations corporate wide.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 8 years of experience in software development. Experience as a development lead or senior developer.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
