Desktop Mac Support Technician

Property Solutions, an energetic, fast growing company has an exciting opportunity for a part-time entry-level IT Technician who is enthusiastic, has a roll up your sleeves approach and a winning attitude. The successful candidate will impress us with their intelligence and their dynamic personality. You must thrive in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and assignments. You will provide technical desktop Mac and PC support for the entire Property Solutions team globally; this position is located in Utah County.
Responsibilities:
Setup and configure workstation computers and assist users in resolving problems under general supervision
Resolve problems of a moderate level of complexity referring more difficult problems to senior level personnel
Assist internal users in resolving software, hardware or other telecommunication equipment problems
Take the necessary steps to identify, research, isolate and resolve the problem
Required Skills and
Experience:
Must be able to troubleshoot problems on Mac and PC computers
Understanding of server and PC security is required
Camera/sound system experience is a plus
Some experience with Windows is a plus
Basic understanding of DNS and DHCP is a plus
Understanding of network routing is a plus
General experience with open source software such as OpenOffice and Apache is a plus
Base Wage/Salary:
$14 - $16 per hour, DOE
Work Schedule and Location:
Part-time, 20-25 hours a week
Monday-Friday
Lehi, UT office
