General Summary of Position
The Sales Order Entry Specialist role entails the ownership of order entry. It provides the assurance that each order will be entered accurately and promptly to ensure prompt shipments to the customers. The main objectives as a Sales Order Entry Specialist with GOAL ZERO are to ensure that each order be entered with precision.
Faultlessly enter orders in MAS
Manage and correspond with all SPS and EDI orders
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Faultlessly enter orders in MAS
o Attention to detail is a must. When orders are entered into the system, they must be done meticulously to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction.
o Orders received must be entered within 24 business hours to meet the 72 hour deadline.
o Have open communication with sales team, accounting, order allocator and supply chain about discrepancies.
o Make sure orders entered into MAS match the customer's Purchase Orders to ensure proper invoicing.
Manage and correspond with all electronic SPS and EDI orders
o Regularly check portals to ensure that all orders are received and entered.
o Report back to customers' systems product that has shipped and invoiced.
Assist sales admins and account managers to ensure sales orders and purchase orders are accurate.
o Help admins and sales team with any questions about orders.
o Ensure that orders are entered completely to help attain goals.
o Develop effective systems for the GOAL ZERO Sales Team and Order Entry.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Attention to detail
Ability to prioritize and organize efficiently
Project Management oriented (Self-motivated and determined to complete projects)
Communicate urgency of project deadlines
Software such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
CRM experience is preferred
Compensation
Wage: $10-12/hr
Part time:
Shift 1: 8 AM to 1 PM
Shift 2: 12PM to 5PM
