Supplier Support Specialist

Telarus, Inc. is a distributor of telecommunications products and services through a network of independent sales partners and is expanding in many departments. The Supplier Management Group is just one of the departments that is expanding and is adding a Supplier Support Specialist.
Overall Responsibility:
Contact Telarus suppliers (Local Channel Managers) LCM's regularly for deeper engagement, assist the Director of Supplier Management and Supplier Information Manager on gathering data, monitor and support LCM assignments and supplier data in Telarus back office, and assist with immediate needs of LCM
Key areas of Responsibility:
Engage all Supplier LCM's for relationship building and support
Communicate Telarus story, tools and value proposition to LCM's
Proactively monitor and update LCM assignments in Telarus back office
Audit, track and update LCM contacts, LCM assignments, and Supplier Information in Telarus back office
Assist the Director of Supplier Management and Supplier Information Manager as needed

Director of Supplier Management
Supplier Information Manager
Operations Department
Marketing Department
All levels of management
Qualifications:
Effective communicator (Phone, e-mail and in person)
Effective listener
Active team player
Ability to manage multiple projects and identify/address individual issues
Display ability to critically think through issues to identify an appropriate solution
Maintain a role of ethics and honesty
Requires TCA certification within 60 days of employment

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
