Billing Collection Specialist
Ingram Medical is a dynamic growing specialty pharmacy. The Billing Collection Specialist communicates and with patients to correct, complete , and process patient payments, including calling patients, creating invoices, creating account memos, and updating customer files.
Responsibilities:
Quick accurate data entry
Exceptional customer service
Outstanding communication
Organize and exercise sound judgment
Maintain a positive attitude
Analyze and understand customer need and communicate clearly for understanding
Negotiate payment arrangements
Perform waivers, account reversals, collection refunds, and resolve billing discrepancies
Professional cooperation with internal and external customs
Data entry
Memos
Payment Collections
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of collections
Capable of meeting production goals
Demonstrated problem solving skills and the ability to act/decide accordingly
Excellent telephone skills
Motivated
Adaptable
Self-starter
Basic accounting experience a plus
Previous collections experience preferred
Excel and MS suite a must
