Inventory Contractor

Local startup ski shop is looking for help managing our expanding ski inventory.
Utah SKI Gear LLC sells mostly used skis as an affordable alternative to buying new skis or renting.
We are not a consignment shop, we actually own all our own inventory. Sales channels include local sales by appointment, as well as online sales on our website UtahSKIGear.com and on eBay.
This is a contract position opening mid August though at least Christmas. For the right person we hope this could end up more than short term contract work. We have experienced rapid growth and look forward to continued growth with the right team.
Responsibilities include:
Photographing inventory
Recording inventory onto spreadsheets
Writing accurate product descriptions
Listing items for sale online including:
eBay
Craigslist
KSL
UtahSKIGear.com
Additional responsibilities may include tuning and shipping skis and other projects as needed.
Applicant must be confident in the use of Excel. Knowledge of online sales channels such as eBay, as well as digital photography and the ski industry a plus. Some training is provided.
Flexible hours. Powder days optional.
Pay starts at $10.00/hr.
Possible perks including ski demos both from our own stock and being able to ski next seasons models this year at ski Demos, discounts on ski gear, etc.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
