Medical Billing Specialist
South Valley Ear, Nose, & Throat is seeking an experienced medical biller/coder. Responsibilities include coding and billing medical claims (office visits, office procedures, and surgeries), entering payments, handling denials and appeals, following up with insurance companies on outstanding claims, and patient collections. Previous experience in medical billing is required as well as knowledge of CPT, ICD-9, and modifiers. The work schedule for this full-time position is Monday-Friday 8:
30 am-5 pm. Benefits include health insurance, paid vacation, paid holidays, and 401k. The office is located in West Jordan next to Jordan Valley Hospital.
Previous experience in medical billing is required as well as knowledge of CPT, ICD-9, and modifiers.
