Nutrition Educator III - Weber, Davis, Salt Lake and/or Utah Counties

Utah State University Extension's Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) Northern District is seeking seven qualified individuals to work part-time (20 hours per week) teaching nutrition and cooking skills to limited income families and youth. Training and teaching materials will be provided. Medical benefits package available for part time employees.
1. A basic knowledge of food preparation and nutrition is recommended.
2. Job requires willingness to learn, work well with people, keep records and do reports.
3. Some skill with computers and other electronic devices necessary; Internet access or ability to access Internet is required.
4. Must be willing to obtain Food Handler's permit within one month of hire.
5. Flexible hours.
6. Car and current insurance, valid driver's license or access to transportation to meet with clients required. Must adhere to the University Travel and Driving Policies. Mileage will be reimbursed.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
