Position summary:
The primary role of a Corporate Sales Manager is to build client relationships by managing existing corporate accounts and prospecting for new accounts. This is an outside direct sales role selling industrial uniform programs, safety footwear programs, corporate apparel, and promotional goods.
Broad areas of responsibility include: Sales:
The Corporate Sales Manager (CSM) is responsible for promoting Imagewear to the business community and developing the required network to increase sales and ensure profitability. Selling – The CSM is responsible for the identification/ qualification and contact of potential new accounts within the assigned geographical territory. Customer Service – The CSM is responsible for representing Mark’s Work Wearhouse to the business community in a professional manner, ensuring that the customers’ needs are exceeded at every opportunity. Marketing – The CSM will identify opportunities within their assigned territory to further the awareness of Imagewear with existing and potential accounts. Operational Activities:
The CSM is responsible to maintain the Imagewear Management System (“iMS”), updating prospective and existing customer database information. The CSM will communicate with the stores, fulfillment centres, buyers and suppliers concerning any pertinent account information, and will act as a liaison between various departments within the organization. Administration:
The CSM is responsible for providing administrative support to support the corporate account sales (i.e., setting up procedures to meet customer needs, invoicing). Leadership:
The CSM is responsible to support the Corporate Sales Representatives (“CSR”) in each of the stores, coaching and training on new products and programs. The CSM will communicate with the CSR’s on a regular basis and will follow up to ensure customers’ needs are being met. Systems:
The CSM will have a good working knowledge of the following programs: RETEK, Lotus Notes, Central Station, IMS, MS Word and Excel programs. -Please note that Outside Sales Experience is mandatory
