As part of our ING DIRECT Sales Team, you will market our contemporary financial products to new and existing customers. Responsibilities include achieving your personal sales goals along with the department sales goals.
Successful candidates will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be independent and self-motivated, and possess a strong and competitive sales drive and a commitment to excel.
This introductory role is the first step in a fulfilling work experience where the Associate can quickly learn new skills and advance to new roles in the Sales Team that layer in more responsibilities and more earning opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Meeting sales targets set by the department each month
- Demonstrate a passion for leading Americans back to saving
- Keep up to date with all product changes and features
- Explain essential account setup procedures
- Explain essential security questions
- Uphold and explain key Customer guarantees
- Efficiently and effectively adhere to all scheduled work activities
- Provide regular feedback from our Customers
Qualifications:
* Demonstrated strong, competitive sales drive
* Demonstrated strong commitment to accuracy and efficiency
* High energy level
* PC Proficiency
* Desire to learn
* Flexible schedule

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Education and/or Certifications:
* Completion of a high school diploma; further education an asset
Working Conditions:
* Extensive computer and telephone usage
Physical/Mental Requirements:
* Requires adequate range of body motion and mobility, with or without accommodation to perform the essential functions of the position
* Ability to work under the stress of deadlines
* Incumbent must be self-motivated
* Ability to be flexible and adapt to change
**CALL CENTER IS OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK**
Hours of operation are Mon - Fri 7AM -8PM, Sat 8AM- 8PM, Sun 10AM - 8PM.
AVAILABLE SHIFTS MAY INCLUDE EVENING HOURS & 1 WEEKEND SHIFT (On either SAT or SUN)

The Sales Team is the group that helps lead Americans back to saving by providing an incredible Orange Customer Experience. This is done by listening to what Customers needs and by fulfilling that need through providing the right solution - either recommending an ING DIRECT product or completing the appropriate service request.
