POSITION: Sr. Display Design Engineer
CLASSIFICATION: Exempt
REPORTING TO: V.P. Electronic Engineering
LOCATION: Taunton
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
Design next-generation CyberDisplay products to meet demand for high-quality, low-power microdisplay solutions. Drive all aspects of full-custom integrated circuit design in parallel with ongoing development of High Density Pixel SOI CMOS process. Work with Display Design Engineers on circuit design, simulation, layout, and verification. Prepare data sheets, test specifications, and related documentation. Support customers, subcontractors, and internal engineering staff in development of display driver electronics and ASICs. Characterize silicon devices and extract models for SPICE simulation. Work with outside design resources on driver IC development, evaluation, and qualification.
Requirements:
Strong background in full-custom IC design of displays or image sensors.
Solid understanding of MOS devices and SOI or polysilicon TFT technology.
Experience with Mentor Graphics, HSpice, Utmost, and Unix-based tools desirable.
Good oral and written English communication skills.
MSEE with engineering research experience.
Minimum 5 years experience in display industry.
Eligibility for ITAR-restricted work generally requires US citizenship or permanent residency.
Available for occasional international travel, typically less than 5% time.
