McCutcheon Enterprises, Inc. (MEI) is a leading waste management company, located in Apollo, PA. Since 1947, MEI has provided transportation, treatment, disposal and on site environmental services for a wide variety of clients.
MEI is seeking an energetic and talented individual for the key position of Field Services Manager. The key responsibilities and duties of this position include:
- Responsible for the direction and supervision of field services supervisors, field service technicians and driver/field operators for the proper performance of industrial services work.
- Industrial services work includes dredging and lagoon services, waste vacuum and transfer, pumping and transfer, high pressure water cleaning, on-site mobile treatment, emergency spill response and remediation
- Much of the time is spent at the various job sites
- Involved in the hiring and training of field service technicians and drivers
- Assists project managers in planning newly acquired waste projects
- Develops and recommends strategies to improve operations and client satisfaction
- Performs safety sensitive functions such as loading and unloading equipment and vehicles, operating commercial motor vehicles and operating equipment
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Some post high school education in business or industrial management preferred
- Five (5) or more years of waste industry experience (experience with vacuuming, pumps, moving liquids and sludges) or environmental service experience (water blasting) required
- Experience managaing at remote locations
- 2 or more years of management experience required; previous experience managing supervisors preferred
