SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: Provide sales support for Director of Sales, three National Account Managers and two Account Managers as well as additional support to the Corporate Marketing Department as required. Assist customers with day-to-day inquiries and requests via phone and e-mail. Manage day-to-day administrative and office management responsibilities.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Interact with both direct customers and distributor partners by providing assistance with bottle inquiries, specifications, requests for quotation, sample requests, creating and generating reports, obtaining drawings, and analysis thereby allowing the account managers to spend more time in a direct sales capacity. Analyze customer requirements to determine solutions to their needs. Create and enter quote requests, supply drawings, research, and provide bottle comparisons. Place sample orders in Oracle system; interact with manufacturing plants to request and place sample orders for customers. Field customer leads; screen for proper sales representation within and/or outside the organization. Utilize Oracle systems to research information for ad hoc reports. Train new account managers on company procedures and systems. Act as a liaison between account managers, customers and customer service. Research prospective customers/competition for account managers. Notify customers of resin changes based on resin requirements in a timely manner. Create and maintain regional database. Coordinate resin change administration pull/print/compile quotes and pricing summaries for resin changes as they occur. Maintain and update files accordingly. Create requisitions and place orders for services and supplies needed for office in Oracle system. Write job procedures and update as position evolves. Maintain CRM for the sales region. General administrative support/office management including, but not limited to: meeting and event coordination, answering phones, sending/receiving faxes, maintaining files and libraries, preparing and shipping packages, scheduling teleconferences and preparing vendor invoices for payment. Create PowerPoint sales presentations.
Requirements:
Required: Minimum two years in an administrative role. Proficient in Microsoft Suite. Strong oral and written communication skills.
Preferred: Minimum two years in an administrative role in manufacturing or consumer products industries. Oracle and/or SAP experience.
